	I've grabbed a little bite to eat -- yeah, "dinner" for me was one of the "things" that didn't get done -- and I'm heading out. Skywise isn't home yet but I don't expect him to be much longer. Everyone sleep well and be safe.

	Greetings! We made a serious catfood run this morning and the furry ones are now well supplied with canned food, dry food and kitty litter! (125 pounds of the latter....) Thunderstorms are in the forecast so I may find myself offline today but that's okay. I've got a project to finish up so I'll work on that and, of course, work on my backlog of reading!

	Time to do something useful. Or fun. I'm undecided about which it is. I'm making a bin out of fabric, plastic canvas and pellon to put between the front seats of the van since it doesn't have a console. I'm currently sewing in the dividers (two of them) and it's a pain in the patootie to do but it "should" be perfect when it's done. So I'm gonna get some tea, maybe a cookie or three and go sew. 	I'm back. We had rain, we had thunder and we had a momentary power outage. Things have calmed down and the power is on so here I am. Now to finish what I was doing when the power went out.

	Well, I wasn't able to stay online long last night. It didn't rain anymore but the air was so thick with humidity, especially in the upper atmosphere that the satellite signal couldn't punch through. VERY frustrating! sigh At least I got the dividers sewn into the bin for the van. All that's left now is the outer cover which I may or may not do today. I want to get it done but my fingers are tired!

	Morning. It turned out to be a lot more "later" than I'd planned. The rain stopped but the air was so heavy and the trees around the satellite dish were so heavy with rain, the signal couldn't get through. Skywise trimmed some of the trees this morning and the signal is back. Hopefully that will solve the problem. I have tea so I'd better get busy getting caught up.

	Greetings. We're back from a quick run into town. Right out of the gate this morning Skywise discovered that SunLord (who has locked up the title "Hurl King" had upchucked in his work shoes. Not "on" but "IN." This necessitated a quick trip to Walmart. The only good thing about it was that they were nearly ready to be replaced. The week ahead looks "interesting" weatherwise. More on that in the Weather thread.

	Given the weather forecast for Wednesday night into Thursday, we've decided to make our usual Thursday grocery run on Wednesday rather than Thursday when it is "supposed" to be raining like hell. Then if it IS raining like hell on Thursday morning, we can just keep our little selves tucked inside until Skywise has to leave for work.

	I just walked up to the Guest House to get some corn out of the freezer. The air is perfectly still, heavy with odors -- some unidentified -- and humid. Those TS Bill "leftovers" are going to have plenty of moisture to work with once they get here. I'm just hoping that we don't have a repeat of the '08 flood.
