	Greetings! We had nowhere to go this morning so Skywise and the cats let me sleep in which I apparently needed since I didn't wake up until nearly 11. It's damp and cloudy -- which is becoming SOP -- so I'm going to get some tea and get caught up before I decide what to do today. Post # 62,700 for the site.

	I have for the FIFTH TIME ordered an item that Spirit wants from FIVE DIFFERENT vendors on Amazon. It's offered for sale, I order it and a few days later I'm told that they don't have it and they cancel the order... To say that this is getting old doesn't begin to cover it!

	The eyes aren't being very cooperative but I'm getting a little work done on Book 4 tonight. REALLY need to stay away from facebook. While I "do" find out things I need to know on my newsfeed without having to traipse all over the web, it is too easy to waste a ton of time there. I doubt many serious writers spend much time on fb and I intend to emulate them. I've been "led astray" and now I need to get my self-discipline back.

	Greetings. It's chilly, damp and cloudy (at the moment) this morning. We got seriously rained on -- again -- last night. It started thundering right after I got offline and started raining at about 3 am. It's supposed to be mostly dry today but we'll see.

	I've been working on the larp rules and by extension, the reference material since the part I'm working on concerns the various city-states. It's a bit mind numbing but I'll likely need this reference at some point so best to get it done while I'm thinking of the very insulting things Our Heroine has to say to Our Hero to get a rise out of him which is difficult since saying such things is not in my nature....

	Went out and took a few measurements. I may have to tweak Skywise's design a little but I don't think it will need much. I'll get serious tomorrow and start drawing diagrams.

	On impulse, we dashed into town for lunch and all rainy hell broke loose while we were eating. It was a monsoon with visibility down to about a quarter mile with winds pushing 70 mph. As we were waiting to turn off of 252, we saw two BIG lightning strikes down the road toward Morgantown. I don't know where they hit but the thunder was almost instantaneous. We got home and found that a limb had fallen out of the persimmon tree next to the mail box and was blocking access to the box and since we're expecting a couple of packages today, Skywise went out to clear it. The girls and I went through our flooded front yard to get to the door. Methinks that after we get the drains installed under the driveway, we'll be adding a "drain the front yard" project to the list, especially if it keeps raining like this....
